Operation Holiday Login

In 2010, Inter-Faith Ministries Operation Holiday assisted 12,854 individuals of which 6,738 were children. It is expected that the need is even greater this year. Those in need will receive non-perishable food items, grocery vouchers for fresh food products, and new or gently used coats. Through a partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program, families with children age 14 and under will receive toys or gifts.

Your Help Needed!

This year, Operation Holiday expects to help over 13,000 people have a brighter holiday. Inter-Faith Ministries really needs your help… and we need special types of help.

The Wichita community is very generous, but every year Operation Holiday comes up short on certain items - items that are crucial to nutritionally fragile children and seniors. It would be a special blessing if your group could help us with a targeted drive focused on these special needs. Please consider organizing one or more of the following Donation Drives: Protein (peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna) Breakfast (cereal and other items) or Coats (especially new or clean gently used children’s coats).

  • Donate food, cash, new or gently used coats-especially children’s sizes
  • Donate gloves, scarves, and knit hats
  • Donate gently used or new blankets at an In The Bag Cleaners before November 23.
  • Organize a donation drive - Join our challenge program
  • Be an escort at distribution
  • Pick-up donated items
  • Offer translation services
